Ar you able to work? Since you said you have no income. I have heard someone said that if you find someone personally that you know to purchase the house (if it does go to auction) that then you can rent from them and at least still live there. I knwo someone this happened to and it worked out well. But they had a relative purchase it and then became a rental to them and the family members still lived in the same residence, just as tenants though. Best of luck to you, Ladyzis

I am a wonderful single mother of 2 boys, one lives with me. I am from the Chicago area and have lived most of my adult life in the western states. I moved from CO to midcoast Maine 4 years ago.  My child at home has special needs and am looking for a new location within the USA for services to assist him.  His diagnosis is PDD, Pervasive Development Disorder, one of the spectrum disorders next to Autism.

I am seeking assistance to move and obtain the best schooling services as well as social events for him within a community. We do not have any family that is involved with my child, so it is important that there is a social availablity for myself as a single mother as well.

I am exhausted from handling all of the responsibilites in raising my child alone with no respite time for myself, that we have never had a vacation in the 10 years of his life!  Make A Wish Foundation only helps those children with terminal illnesses. There are no organizations that I know of, that helps with children in the spectrum disorder arena.

If anyone knows of a source for any of these requests, please let me know! It has been a long search and I hope that there is someone out there in this world who may be able to help us!
